Welcome
The San Jose State University chapter of Engineers Without Borders (EWB-SJSU) is a newly established student chapter of EWB-USA, a non-profit humanitarian organization established to partner with developing communities worldwide in order to improve their quality of life. This partnership involves the implementation of environmentally and economically sustainable engineering projects, while involving and training internationally responsible engineering professionals.
Embracing the concept that charity starts at home, EWB-SJSU extends this mission to local communities, as well as abroad. Through these projects, students get an opportunity to apply their engineering knowledge to real world problems while honing their project management, problem solving and teamwork skills. Above all, they contribute in making this world a better place.
